View westward, towards Fairford: ex-GWR Oxford - Witney - Fairford line, closed 18/6/62. The 'station' had only been opened 2/10/44, mainly to serve RAF Brize Norton, the original Brize Norton station being on the wrong side of the large RAF Base, which became a USAF Base 1951-65.
