Christ Church, a Church of England church, was built in 1856-60 of Sandstone Rubble by Harrison of Wigan. It is a grade II Listed Building (English Heritage ID:357532 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-357532-christ-church-charnock-richard-lancashir British Listed Buildings).
