Next to the sawmill is this 'undressed' Babcock & Wilcox water-tube boiler. This is the marine type CTM boiler with a cross ways steam drum. The tube nest is rather small but there is a superheater above it. This is not the best way to treat an interesting artefact - I've never seen anything else quite like this on a National Trust property.
