On my ancient Pathfinder Map 1:25000 this path is marked as being in a field - rather surprised it has now been absorbed by housing estates, although it still exists but squeezed behind back gardens. At one point it is a desperate struggle to pass through as leylandii have spread over the path - denying space. If the offending resident should read this, I politely ask him to cut it back to allow passage.
