This was taken beside the Fort retail park looking towards Manchester. Another, smaller, shopping area is on the opposite side of the road. On the horizon, the tall thin building is the Co-operative Insurance Society offices, and the shorter, fatter one on the right is the Arndale shopping centre with flats above the shop levels.
