At the junction with Brazil Street, Post Office, No.110 Holderness Road. Land acquired by the G.P.O. in 1955. On this site, the Picturedrome cinema opened 1912. In 1928 it became the Ritz, which was destroyed by bombing in 1941. A planning application was submitted 2013 to demolish the Post Office, to be replaced by the erection of a 3-storey building incorporating, inter alia, a new post office, another retail unit and flats.
