View southward, towards York and London: ex-NER York - Northallerton stretch of the East Coast Main Line, electrified 1990. Nothing is left of the station, which was modern, having been rebuilt during the 1930s widening to four-tracks, and closed from 1/11/65. The IC225 express is receding southward.
