Taken in February 1996, this photo shows the former bus garage in Woodberry Grove N12 0DP which had opened as a tramcar depot in June 1905 with room for 60 tramcars. It then began operating trolleybuses on 2nd August 1936 whilst Routemaster motorbuses including 15 of 30ft length were to start working from the garage on 8th November 1961. Trolleybus operation finished on the 2nd January 1962, whilst motorbus operation ended on the 4th December 1993 with routes and vehicles being transferred to the Holloway and Potters Bar bus garages. The former garage was demolished in the late 1990s and a retail development now occupies the site. Rosemont Avenue can be seen to the left of the garage.
