A view of the rear balconies from Western Street. The flats were built in 1934 on the site of the former Brunswick Baths and were controversial at the time as they lie immediately adjacent to Brunswick Terrace. However, the art deco design has stood up well over the decades and despite a period when the flats fell not disrepair they have now been renovated and restored to their former glory. the top window in view shows sign of a recent fire that broke here.
