Viewed across Malpas Road looking towards a wooden fence and the backs of houses in Westfield Gardens. I have vague memories of a long since demolished Territorial Army building hereabouts, though a gap in the numbering of Malpas Road houses on the Westfield Gardens side of the road suggests there were formerly older houses here. After number 451 Malpas Road, out of shot on the left on the corner of Westfield Avenue, the next Malpas Road house on the right side of Westfield Gardens is 499.
