Wey Navigation: New Haw Lock Cottage

The large plaque on the cottage declares the National Trust's ownership of the Wey Navigation, and its completion in 1653. The cottage is however not contemporary with the opening, as it probably dates back to no earlier than the first part of the 19th Century. It is nonetheless a Grade II Listed Building.
