An observation platform and passing point on the raised boardwalk. Bestwood Road, the B683 road, lies straight ahead, as the crow flies. Moorbridge Pond and the nearby Springfield Corner Reserve site - that is on the other side of the Hucknall-Nottingham tram route (behind the photographer)- were awarded Local Nature Reserve (LNR) status, as a joint site, in June 2012.
