Woolwich: North Kent Tavern

There is something faintly naïve and charming about the name of this pub in Spray Street. Maybe it's the old-worldly use of the word tavern, or maybe it's the implication that this is the only such public house in all of North Kent! Whatever, it's water under the bridge because the pub has sadly joined the long list of the five pubs that CAMRA estimates are shut down each week.
