Somerset Street School was built by the Newington School Board after 1879 and transferred to the Hull School Board in 1883. A separate junior department added 1903. Later, Somerset Street Adult Education Centre. Scrapstore since 2000, a registered charity providing creative art and play resources for children and young people.
