Opened in 1848 on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's line from Mirfield to Low Moor, this station closed to passengers in 1965. View north east towards Heckmondwike Central and Low Moor. The single island platform started around here and stretched over North Road (there is now a hidden dip in the centre of the image, down to road level), with access from the road seemingly up a ramp on the far side of North Road.
