This pair of red-brick semis on the peaceful Stokehall Lane, with timber detailing to the gables, are typical of early/mid 20th century housing in this part of Cheshire. The Middlewich branch of the Shropshire Union Canal runs on a low embankment immediately behind the houses (see Image), although there is no public access at this point; a moored boat is just visible (blue and white, centre right)
