Construction of a new road bridge, Tredegar

The A465 Heads of the Valleys road crosses the River Sirhowy at Dukestown to the north of Tredegar. As part of the dualling of the A465 a new bridge is being constructed at this point. The existing bridge will become the westbound carriageway with the new bridge being the eastbound carriageway. This view shows the construction of the abutments for the new bridge.
