A joint venture with Cancer Research UK. There is no doubt that we know more about the molecular biology and treatment of cancer than ever before. Some cancers can be cured in a high percentage of cases, while others still exact a high human price each year. Although bad genes play a part in causing cancer, there is also a significant interplay with environmental/lifestyle factors.
