Class 27's, 27042 & 27059 run off Carstairs stabling point to take charge of 'The Fair Maid of Perth' special. The locos bear the Stag emblem of Inverness Depot. Note the lever for manually operatig the points in the foreground. behind on the right other locomotives await their next duties.
