Looking South towards the Market Cross Image There are two pubs in the picture, The Angel on the left (currently still open) and the Red Lion on the right which sadly closed some years ago. Next to the Red Lion but not visible is the Post Office Image The picture was taken by my father in 1964, the blue Hillman Imp outside the Post Office belonged to him.
