Molehills are in the foreground, Fernlea houses in the background. Though it is a sunny day, there was no-one in the allotments. The explanation is that it is early January 2014, not in the growing season! The allotments are owned by Caerphilly County Borough Council. A plot, for growing vegetables, fruit or flowers, can be rented for a small annual payment.
