Viewed across Old Monmouth Road. Whitchurch & Ganarew Memorial Hall was officially opened on November 30th 1923 as a memorial to the fallen of the Great War (now usually known as the First World War). The hall was paid for by public subscription by the residents of Whitchurch and Ganarew. Part of the hall was rebuilt in the 1970s, with the addition of a second storey to form a Committee Room.
