A Church of England voluntary aided primary school. The school can trace its origins back to the 17th century, when it was created under the Will of Lady Katherine Leveson, which set up a charitable trust known as the Lady Katherine Leveson Foundation. One of its aims was the education of children in a school. Lady Leveson was descended from the well-known Dudley family.
