Now rendered obsolete by the recasting of Paddington station and the new entrance area on the northern side. Taxis previously entered Paddington station from the north-west here, driving down a ramp between two platforms in the middle of the station and exiting to Praed Street up the ramped entrance between the Circle and Bakerloo line stations.
