This mere located beside the Norbury Town Lane on the western edge of the hamlet of Norbury is typical of the many small meres which dot the pasture in this area. Surrounded on three sides by deciduous trees, lilies and water buttercups grow on the open bank (just visible on the right) and the pond is home to a pair of ducks
