Scarves on sale at a street vendor's outside Goodison Park. Travelling here from Liverpool's town centre on match day via Kirkdale or Sandhills stations, the colour blue gradually becomes predominant, until in the vicinity of Goodison the world seemingly turns royal blue - the sky itself takes on a deep blue colour around dusk in wintertime - undoubtedly support from on high!
