Bridge over the former Scarborough to Whitby railway line

This bridge carries Green Lane/Cross Lane over the former Scarborough to Whitby railway line. Originally this was a stone bridge but in the early 1960s the road was almost doubled in width and the bridge enlarged towards the camera with the new concrete arch; this was only a few years before the railway line closed. The line is now a footpath/cycle track.
