Cawkwell House, Cawkwell Wood, and the notorious Cawkwell Hill, which climbs the chalk escarpment of the Lincolnshire Wolds. In snow and icy weather, it is often the cause of this road from Lincoln to Louth being blocked as vehicles slide to a halt on it. Who said Lincolnshire is flat?
