Boggy ground at the foot of Tardree Mountain, near Antrim. Tardree is a popular mountain biking area. Most of Co Antrim is of volcanic origin so it could well be the eroded remains of an ancient volcano though I haven't been able to find positive evidence that this is the case. There are lots of these volcanic plugs in the area, the best known of which is Slemish, near Ballymena (D 2205)
