Looking along the platforms, in the direction of St. Helens. The Thatto Heath Road bridge is nearest, then the Elm Road bridge, then, farthest, a footbridge. A few new catenary masts have been erected, prior to the electrification of the Liverpool to Wigan line, in 2014.
