Watery sunrise at the Birdwood Bends

The bends here on the A40 were once far more exaggerated. For the last morning of 2013 a smudge of colour in the south-east sky at 08:20 indicates where the sun is just about to be obliterated by rainclouds from the south-west. Sure enough within an hour the rain is bucketing down.
