View southward from A272 road east of North Chailey towards the site of the station: ex-LB&SCR (London) - East Grinstead - Lewes - (Brighton) line. The station and line were closed 13/6/55, but reopened (for passengers), East Grinstead - Lewes 7/8/56 until 17/3/58. East Grinstead - Sheffield Park is of course now the heritage Bluebell Railway.
