View SE, towards Oxford, Didcot, Reading and London etc.: ex-GWR Oxford, Worcester & Wolverhampton section. This is a main line, which however was reduced largely to single track c. 1970 but restored to double-track by 2011. The bay platform on the Up side was used by the branch trains from Shipston-on-Stour, which ceased from 8/7/29 (goods 2/5/60) and joined north of the station.
