The water source in Image The house behind is called Cyncoed, but in earlier maps back to at least 1888 it was named Brynteg. Furthermore the London Gazette of 4 April 1968 records the death on 16 March 1968 of Robin Emile Evans of Brynteg, Llanbadarn Road, Mineral Water Manufacturer, suggesting a possible connection with the water source.
