One of several urbane late Georgian houses on the street, of either three or five bays, two storeys of smooth ashlar above a rusticated ground floor, and pedimented doorcase. By William Paty, 1788-91. Grade II* listed. Originally built for John Pinney, a sugar merchant, the house is now the Georgian House Museum, its intact interiors offering a small insight into the life of an C18th merchant and those who served him.
