The signal is down, won't hurt to take a quick shot of the line towards Giberdyke (the blue footbridge is visible in the distance). But just as I slowed, the top of the barriers trembled. I was being watched from the signal box, and hi-tailed it to the safety of the road beyond. "Two trains due" came the voice from the open window. "We had a Class 37 through this morning".
