Approaching the station, I was struck by the amount of brightly coloured metal-work around the approach. There are grey and yellow handrails along the ramp, a large white shelter over the bridge, corrugated metal roofing, a large yellow archway over the entrance, lamp-posts on the nearby road - and behind it all an good solid old-fashioned house.
