Viewed across the A465. An information board states that the Old Pandy Inn dates from the 17th century. Pandy is Welsh for fulling or thickening mill. The fulling process removed lanolin from fleeces used in wool production. At the rear of the pub, an old fulling mill has been converted into bunkhouse accommodation for walkers and other outdoor enthusiasts. On the left, a bridge carries the Welsh Marches Line railway over a road.
