View ENE, at B238 Dorset Road to right and Hartfield Road left immediately beyond the level-crossing. The former Wimbledon - West Croydon railway had been closed 31/5/97 and would reopen as the Wimbledon branch of Croydon Tramlink on 30/5/00. Merton Park station had been off to the right.
