Looking across the River Dee to the Duke of Westminster's estate from the public footpath to Aldford. The red brick building in the foreground is a water pumping station, and in the distance are some typical Cheshire black and white cottages. On the other side of the cottages, and out of sight, are the extensive runway and aircraft parking stand remains of a wartime airfield.
