Florid Victoriana, forming the south-west side of Victoria Square, and contrasting with Clifton's more refined Georgian terraces. Pevsner describes it as marking a point at which, "Late Georgian order finally collapses into indiscriminate mid-Victorian eclecticism". Arches are the big theme here - relentless barrages of them on the upper floors. By John Marmont, 1863-67, the near end wrapped up John Yalland in 1863-67, but not completed until 1874. Grade II* listed.
