A distinctive and very handsome early-Victorian terrace, sufficiently early so as not to be marred by clutter and graceless proportions. It still has more detail than most Georgian terraces, but it is all very refined and restrained, e.g. the frieze of rosettes and more numerous mouldings (Image]). The centre and end houses project slightly which adds variety. By Charles Underwood, c1848-53. Grade II* listed.
