Bowling Junction railway station (site), Yorkshire

Opened in 1902 on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's line from Halifax to Bradford, this station closed to passengers in 1951. View north towards Bradford, also the more direct line to Leeds which curved away to the right. The recesses for the platform buildings could still be seen when this image was taken from over the tunnel mouth.
