This fine pair of adjoining Queen Anne houses are on the north side of the High Street and both are Grade II Listed. The nearer one has a date plaque of 1706 and the initials ERE, while the far one is Church House, said to have been built around 1700, and also said to have been owned by Lady Hamilton. The 20th century residence on the left provides an interesting comparison.
