The A4074 road to the right is Henley Road (towards Oxford), the A4074 road to the left goes towards Henley via Wallingford. Ahead is Wallingford Road to Shillingford. In the 1850s there was a public house (The Bell) to the left of the houses at the left hand side of the image.The pub had an Ordnance Survey benchmark described on the Bench Mark Database at http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm19837
