The Playa on The Leas is now a restaurant and pub but was once the clubhouse of the Catamaran Yacht Club http://www.cheyneyrock.co.uk/local-history/the-catamaran-yacht-club/ The Club was founded in 1960 and at that time it was one of the few buildings along The Leas.
