Most Sheffielders (of a certain age) know about the infamous apartment blocks, which - literally connected - together were known as Kelvin Flats … … and that, following demolition in 1993, they don't exist anymore Far fewer Sheffielders will know about the Kelvin Apartments building … which preceded the Flats and are still going strong … and even have a modern extension on the right. Langsett Cycles is also a well known business … especially to Cyclists!
