Royston - former Palace Cinema

This is located in Royston, near Barnsley, Yorkshire at the corner of Midland Road and Victoria Road. The Palace Cinema was opened in 1914 (the date is in the stonework above the entrance). The 712-seat cinema was still open in 1966, but had closed by 1980. It now appears to be in use as Pockets Sports & Snooker Club. See http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/41647 for more details.
