A Grade II listed building in Low Town dating from the 18th century, with an earlier refaced part to the rear. Located on the corner of Mill Street and Doctor's Lane, it has been a public house since 1790, when it was first licensed. It was originally known as the Whitmore Arms. This used to be a Banks's house. Next door, at No. 55, is Kum Tong, a Chinese takeaway. Image
