Rather important to know the location of buried high voltage cables when undertaking civil engineering works on the scale of 30 miles (about 50km) of new railway line. The Southern Upland Way and cycleway are diverted here for a short distance to run parallel before rejoining the original route past the site of the new Tweedbank terminal station.
